A collaborative real estate search platform for agents/client
Zenlist’s core mission is to build the best collaborative platform for real estate agents and their clients.
Zenlist software engineers, working closely with the Product and Design teams, strive to provide the best technology and user experience for buying and selling real estate.
At Zenlist, our Senior Software Engineers are expected to work independently, collaborate with other team members across multiple disciplines, produce high quality code efficiently, and learn to master the complexity and subtleties of real estate ecosystem. Moreover, they assist their teammates, and mentor more junior developers.
Skills and requirements
We’re looking for someone who has:
Extensive programming skills in your language of choice. If that language is not Typescript and/or React, then you are willing to learn, master, and switch to those full time.
5+ years of web development experience (JS, CSS, HTML). Experience with React is a plus.
A track record of shipping high-quality, well-tested software products that demonstrate attention to detail, with a polished user interface and experience.
A track record of working in a fast-paced environment that, while giving you a lot of flexibility and autonomy, expects you to collaborate when necessary, and to deliver high-quality code.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills. You understand the value of Agile methodologies to perform your work in the most efficient manner.
Willingness to follow code conventions and patterns. You have the knowledge and experience to keep large code bases maintainable and scalable as a company grows.
Bonus points (but not required):
Experience working remotely with team members that may be distributed across multiple time zones.
Experience developing mobile applications (any platform / OS).
Experience with the software and technologies we use: Typescript, React, React Native, GraphQL, Figma, git, Github, JIRA.
Competitive base salary between $139K and $180K.
