The Upper School Administrative Assistant is responsible for the overall operation and management of the office of the Upper School Principal, performing a variety of professional and administrative duties that facilitate the day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing daily operation of the Upper School Principal’s schedule and administrative offices, project management, confidential secretarial duties, receptionist duties, special event planning and execution, preserves good relations between the Principia community and the public. Full-Time, 10-month position beginning August 2022

Event management and planner for US events; annual speakers, projects, event spaces, planned community events, upper school calendar, and other assigned projects; Maintains and develops good relations between the Principia community and the public; Supports the Upper School faculty and students.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Active (or pending) membership in The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and/or in a Journal-listed branch church or society of The First Church of Christ, Scientist
-Christian Science class instruction preferred but not required
-Willingness to turn readily to God for guidance
Bachelor’s degree
-Five to seven years’ experience in executive support functions, working with budgets; event planning experience preferred
-Exceptional grammar and writing skills, organizational and office skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, Google Drive and proficient computer skills
