Summary: Utilizes professional knowledge and skills to assess and address the diverse needs of Principia College students. Designs, implements, oversees, and evaluates student programming that supports accessibility to learning. Works closely with the Faculty Development Director to support faculty programming related to student accessibility to learning. Coordinates academic accessibility services for students by partnering with students to identify barriers to learning and implement plans for access. Assists Admissions Committee by informally assessing identified applicants’ educational needs and making recommendations about necessary resources and supports. Advises new students about Principia’s academic requirements and campus resources.

Minimum Qualifications:
Active (or pending) membership in the First Church of Christ, Scientist and/or in a Journal-listed branch church or society of the First Church of Christ, Scientist; Christian Science class instruction preferred, but not required; Master’s Degree in related field (education, social work, psychology, etc.); Two years classroom teaching experience; Ability to work with a range of students and skill levels; Understands pedagogy of college-level teaching; Previous experience working with college-aged students and faculty preferred; Competence with software including MS Office and database applications
