Saturday, December 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Carmichael, CA
This jointly sponsored event features a free Christian Science lecture by Jill Grimes, C.S., from Tucson, Arizona, followed by an interactive career workshop moderated by Robin Glenn Jones of The Albert Baker Fund.
- Learn how God speaks to us in our own language
- Hear inspiring stories from career professionals
- Make meaningful career connections throughout the day
The lecture and workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the La Sierra Community Center, 5325 Engle Road, Carmichael. See full-day agenda here.
“Are you ready to listen beyond all the mental noise? Are you ready to listen with your heart, not your intellect?” In her lecture, Jill Jill shares her understanding of a loving Father-Mother God that speaks to each one of us in our own spiritual language. This enables us to feel worthy of God’s care and capable of the inspiration that frees us from being imprisoned by discouragement or hopelessness. She knows there is always a spiritual answer to every challenge. She’s proven this and shares with others how to prove it too. See her video intro here.
